It has two large living lounges where service users have a choice of a quiet room for privacy or a large lounge for socialising.

To empower you to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to become valued members of the community.

We provide an atmosphere of care and support which both empowers and encourages you to live as full, interesting and independent a lifestyle as possible with rules and regulations being kept to a minimum.

You will be sharing your home with both males and females of different ages. You will have your own bedroom for privacy.

Staff are on duty 24 hours a day to assist you with your needs. Our Staff from NVQ level 2 and L.D.A.F. specialising in the field of learning disabilities.

Brook House has an advocacy service that can help you.

Residents meetings are held regularly where you can voice any worries or concerns.

We will encourage you to maintain contact with friends and family, who you may prefer to speak to if you are unhappy.

You will have a key worker who is there to provide support if you need it.

Brook House is regularly monitored by Commissions for social care standards, and social services.

Brook House has a complaints procedure which you can access.

Brook House has links with colleges and day centres, this could help you develop your educational skills and enables you to socialise with others.

Brook House has its own transport to take you to social clubs and organisations e.g. Gateway clubs, annual holidays etc.

  Our Garden  
 

Outside the property offers ample garden space which is well secluded and private.

You will be offered the opportunity to partake in gardening or horticultural activities.
